Autoshift3
No shifter required! Centauri II knows when to change gear. The internal rear hub transmission changes gears from 1-3 as you speed up and slow down. It’s entirely mechanical and the hub is designed to run for thousands of miles without service. A sealed internal oil bath provides continuous lubrication and is serviceable by bike shops.
Optimized suspension system
Monoshock System
Smoothing out the ride without adding weight, complexity and maintenance is a tall order. Centauri II ditches the complexity of mountain bike suspension forks for a single friction-damped coil spring arrangement. With 30mm of travel it’s enough to smooth things out and help riders maintain control when hitting unavoidable obstacles (hello potholed streets.) Without complex seals and dampers to maintain, it’ll run for years with nothing but an occasional re-greasing of moving parts under the dust boot.

Ananda Mid-Drive
Powerful, silent, and reliable, the Centauri II's motor is ready to go at a moment's notice, delivering up to 120Nm of torque and 650W peak power.
Removable Long-range battery
The removable 490Wh battery delivers up to 60 miles of real-world range on pedal assist and is UL2849 compliant for peace of mind.

Gates CDX Belt Drive
Virtually zero maintenance involved and it lasts 4x longer than traditional chains. It's not a Vvolt if it is not belt driven.

Autoshift3 Transmission
Automatic three-speed rear hub transmission. Shifts at approx 12/20mph. Servicable and adjustable.
Class 3 Enabled
Pedal-assist to 28mph, Centauri II is a Class 3 ebike.
BOOST Button
The right-hand BOOST button activates 4 seconds of max motor assist when pedaling between 5 and 20mph.
490wh Removable Battery - UL2271 tested
Our 490Wh / 13.6ah battery delivers up to 60 miles of real-world range on pedal assist. All of our batteries are removable and can be charged on or off the bike.
Powerful Motor
The Centauri II is equipped with a smooth 350w nominal motor which peaks at 650w with 120Nm of torque.
Full Color Ananda Display
The Ananda D16 provides rich colors and easy to read information, with a convenient left-thumb remote so your hands stay on the bars and in control.
Integrated 360º Lighting
Our Multivision lights do more! the front light has an outer diffuse light ring to visibility surrounding a high-power LED with vertical cutoff to maximize road view for the rider, plus a USB-C power outlet. Integrated lighting and reflective graphics deliver 360º visibility all the time.
Accessory-ready!
You'll find accessory mounting points galore. Front "3-pack" mounts fit water bottles, racks and more. An under-top-tube mount fits water bottles, or bolt-on bags while the front of seat tube mount is perfect for folding locks.

The Centauri II features powerful twin-piston Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with oversized 180mm rotors.

Carbon reinforced belts from Gates® last longer than chains, operate quietly, and don't require greasing. No more unintentional chainring tattoos! Centauri II features the premium CDX system.
Cushy Tires
Puncture-resistant 27.5x2.25” tires w/ reflective sidewalls provides an efficient tire profile for comfortable cruising on pavement and gravel.
Front suspension
A little is all you need to smooth out city streets! 30mm of firm travel combines with our cushy tires to make a smooth ride, with less weight and maintenance than traditional mountain-bike shock forks.
